Never thought a trip would make me realize so much about friendship and lasting relations ........ Roh and myself just thought of spending some time with his friends ( now my friends too by theory of translation ) ... so a trip was planned to see the fall colours ...... it was a reunion sort of for everyone ........ hadn't thought much of how the trip would turn out to be ..... didn't know of how cozy it feels to have a friend welcome you with a hug even if you have been late inspite of living close by ......... didn't know how nice it feels to see old friends catch up on whats going on in everyone's life ........ didn't know how accomodating people would be of my schedule and return from half of the journey without seeing much of the fall colours (actual purpose of the trip) ....... didn't know how much space friends give a to-be-married couple , totally comfortable with their single state ........didn't know how good it feels to see some one smile even when everyone is constantly pulling his leg ........
Four people leading four different lives ........ have hardly met and interacted with each other in the recent past ..... meet one day for a casual trip ........... four lives travel one path ( and get lost on the way :-) ) and as the day ends each takes a different road towards a different destination ...... who knows when they'll all meet next ....... but there is no sadness at departure ........ coz they all know that irrespective of which continent / timezone they are in , they'll keep in touch ..... after all 'Friendship is Forever'
